The ideal candidate for this position must have a minimum of 3mo+ of recent verifiable experience with installing HVAC sheet metal duct and related equipment used in commercial and multi-family buildings.
Job Duties:- Install sheet metal ductwork.
- Install hangers, straps, threaded rods, Unistrut, etc.
- Install grills, fans, etc.
- Use man lifts and duct jacks for the purpose of installing HVAC duct.
- Utilize hand and power tools for the purpose of installing HVAC duct.
- Install various types of HVAC and related equipment using blueprints.
- Operate lifts for installing duct and equipment.
- Use various methods of insulation to control duct temperatures.
- Prepare for the installation by examining building layouts.
- Utilize hand tools to install duct and equipment.
