Landscape Installation Laborer

Overview

AE Landscape Borders is seeking a skilled landscape border technician to join our team. This position isn t a general landscape laborer position; this is a landscape border-specific position. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing flatwork or hardscape. Working as part of a team with a preference for experience leading or overseeing colleagues. We re willing to train the right individuals to pursue a career in landscape borders.

This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

• Ability to work outside
• Ability to use a shovel
• Understand measuring units
• Speak clearly and intelligently / / basic Spanish preferred
• Follow established safety procedures and use protective equipment
• Maintain and clean equipment and work area
• Work with a team to complete projects efficiently and on schedule
• Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and co-workers

• Entry-level with an in-house training program
• Ability to assess and prioritize required duties
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials - 50 lbs
• Ability to work long shifts
• Ability to work early mornings
• Attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Must have a valid driver s license
