• Perform maintenance and repairs according to company operating procedures and standards; fulfill all required regulatory agency obligations; analyze maintenance problems and determine solutions.
• Operate diagnostic equipment to analyze and identify needed repairs and problems.
• Repair pressure vessels, dry vans, fuel trailers, and all other GROWMARK equipment, as well as LP bobtails and fuel tank wagons.
• Ensure all necessary tools are available for completing daily work.
• Use welding and cutting techniques for fleet repair.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and adhere to all company safety standards and guidelines.
• Attend and complete appropriate maintenance schools and D.O.T. training.
• Follow GROWMARK’s Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED equivalent; experience with diesel and/or heavy-duty truck maintenance preferred; ability to qualify for federal annual inspections and become a certified air brake technician is a plus.
• Ability to climb into, out of, and work inside small, confined spaces with a 16-inch entry/exit opening.
• Demonstrated business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Proven verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Capacity to perform work in confined spaces, stand for long periods, and lift items up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work beyond normal hours, travel independently, and overnight as required.
• Exposure to extreme weather, noise, dust, fumes, chemicals, and electrical hazards; use of appropriate personal protective equipment. Must provide own mechanic’s tools.
• Willingness to participate in required training—including education on GROWMARK’s policies, procedures and additional role-related training.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
