Job Description & How to Apply Below
You walk the line at shift start, scan the maintenance dashboard, and prioritize a PLC-controlled filler that flagged a fault overnight. With the schematic open, you trace the issue through a 3‑phase motor control panel (230–480V), swap a suspect sensor, and bring the machine back online. A hydraulic press is due for preventive service, so you complete inspections, change filters, and verify system pressures.
Later, you hop on a forklift to reposition a conveyor section and take a scissor lift up to inspect an overhead pneumatic run. Before wrap-up, you coach a newer tech on SOPs, reinforce safety practices, and log improvement ideas for a small fixture you’re helping design.
What you’ll do Repair, maintain, and improve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical production equipment, including PLC-controlled machines.
Diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, and implement equipment upgrades.
Interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, manufacturer instructions, and service manuals to plan and execute work.
Enhance existing equipment performance and contribute to the design and fabrication of new machinery and fixtures.
