Job Description & How to Apply Below

A day in the life

You walk the line at shift start, scan the maintenance dashboard, and prioritize a PLC-controlled filler that flagged a fault overnight. With the schematic open, you trace the issue through a 3‑phase motor control panel (230–480V), swap a suspect sensor, and bring the machine back online. A hydraulic press is due for preventive service, so you complete inspections, change filters, and verify system pressures.

Later, you hop on a forklift to reposition a conveyor section and take a scissor lift up to inspect an overhead pneumatic run. Before wrap-up, you coach a newer tech on SOPs, reinforce safety practices, and log improvement ideas for a small fixture you’re helping design.

What you’ll do
  • Repair, maintain, and improve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical production equipment, including PLC-controlled machines.
  • Diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, and implement equipment upgrades.
  • Interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, manufacturer instructions, and service manuals to plan and execute work.
  • Enhance existing equipment performance and contribute to the design and fabrication of new machinery and fixtures.
  • Troubleshoot machine motor control panels; proficiency with 230–480V, 3‑phase power is required.
  • Operate forklifts and scissor lifts to relocate machinery and perform elevated maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct maintenance around hydraulic presses in a manufacturing environment.
  • Train department technicians on company policies, procedures, and SOPs.
  • Keep work areas safe, clean, and well organized; follow all safety standards.
  • Support facilities maintenance as needed and handle other duties as assigned.
What you’ll bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years as a multi-craft industrial maintenance technician.
  • Production environment experience is a plus; blow molding experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and clear communication.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively; capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics, and using manufacturer documentation.
  • Basic computer proficiency for work orders, documentation, and research.
  • Availability to work overtime as required.
Physical demands
  • Lift up to 50 lbs multiple times per day.
  • Stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
