Dock and Door Service Technician

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, repair, and install dock and door equipment
• Perform assigned planned maintenance on customer dock and door equipment
• Perform welding
• Maintain a service van and its inventory
• Process paperwork after completing each job

• Less than 2 years related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks
• Technical school graduate preferred
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Welding experience
• Good written and verbal communication and customer care skills
• Ability to read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics
• Familiarity with tools and equipment such as common hand tools
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must not require current or future work authorization sponsorship

Demonstrates mechanical and electrical aptitude with hands-on experience in troubleshooting, diagnosing, servicing, and repairing dock and door equipment. Proficient in welding and capable of reading hydraulic and electrical schematics while maintaining effective communication and customer care.
