Primary Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support APIs and integrations using Mule Soft Anypoint Platform.
- Build and maintain Mule Soft solutions using Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager, and Cloud Hub.
- Develop REST and SOAP services, reusable APIs, and integration solutions following API-led connectivity principles.
- Create API specifications, data mappings, and transformations using RAML/OpenAPI, Data Weave, JSON, and XML.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Git Lab and support automated build and deployment processes.
- Perform unit and integration testing, including MUnit, and support defect resolution through release cycles.
- Troubleshoot integration issues, optimize performance, and enhance reliability, monitoring, logging, and recovery processes.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to review requirements, provide technical recommendations, and participate in design and code reviews.
- Develop and maintain technical and operational documentation.
- Implement API security best practices, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure coding standards.
- 7+ years of software development, systems integration, or middleware experience.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Mule Soft Anypoint Platform and Mule 4.
- Expertise in Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager, and deployment pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, HTTP, API security, and integration patterns.
- Proficiency in Data Weave and data transformation across JSON, XML, flat files, and database integrations.
- Experience with Git-based source control and CI/CD tools such as Git Lab.
- 4+ years of SQL experience, including query optimization and stored procedures.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, data mapping, and enterprise integration design.
- Experience building resilient integrations with robust error handling, monitoring, and recovery mechanisms.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience deploying Mule Soft applications to Cloud Hub.
- Background in Java/J2EE, JDBC, SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Experience integrating databases, SaaS platforms, file systems, and enterprise applications.
- Experience in banking, insurance, or other regulated industries.
- Mule Soft Certification preferred.
