CDL-A Drivers Weekends

CDL-A Driver – Home Weekends (Full Time)

Earn $1,750–$1,950/WK running a dedicated account that allows you to be home on weekends. Full benefits start after 60 days and include medical, dental, 401(k), PTO, and more.

Truck:
Late–model Freightliner automatic. You may take the truck home for home time if you have a safe and secure location.

Schedule:

Two options – Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday (assigned during second interview).

Route: IA, WI, MN, IN, N. KY, MI.

Responsibilities:

• Pay is CPM and per load; each trailer unload earns $340.
• Driver must unload boxes onto a conveyor belt which goes into store; all freight off the belt is handled by store personnel.
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed on the road and at loading/unloading points.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports as required.

Requirements:

• Must live within 100 miles of Joliet.
• 6 months or more of verifiable Class A experience in the last 12 months or 12 months in the last 24 months.
• May not have more than 2 Class A driving jobs in the last year.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 12 months and no more than 3 in the last three years.
• In the last three years may not have had any inattentive or careless driving violations.
• In the last five years may not have any reckless or leaving the scene of an accident violations.
• No preventable accidents in the last five years in which there was an injury or a rollover (including personal vehicle).
• No more than three preventable accidents in the last three years; must provide a police report for all accidents in the last five years.
• If terminated from your last two jobs, you do not qualify; termination for stolen goods also disqualifies.
• All Class A felonies must be over 10 years and will be reviewed.
• All Class B or C felonies must be 7 years or older and will be reviewed.
• No misdemeanors in the last 4 years.
• No commercial vehicle DUI and no more than two SUC in a lifetime; no DUI in the last five years.
