Courier Position
Location:
1703 Clearwater Avenue, Suite 110, Bloomington, IL 61704
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday 11:30am – 6:00pm, Sunday 8:00am-4:00pm
- Load all necessary suppliers for the daily pickups
- Complete the daily pickup schedule in a timely manner
- Deliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shift
- Handle all specimens and lab samples in a safe and efficient manner
- Safely operate a company vehicle and obey all traffic laws
- Utilize a handheld electronic device to manage daily pickups
- Work directly with the dispatcher for additional pick‑ups as needed
- Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes, and weather conditions as needed
- No education or experience required
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
- 2 years or more of driver or courier experience
- 6 months or more of customer service experience
- Very punctual with strong time‑management skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to problem‑solve customer issues
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Minimum age 21 years
Included with this position is a company vehicle for the route. For only $125 per month, you may take the vehicle home for personal use.
Pay Range$17.75 – $26.00 per hour, based on skills and experience.
Benefits- Employees scheduled for 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
- Employees scheduled for less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are eligible only for the 401(k) plan.
- Employees on a 7‑on/7‑off schedule receive all foregoing benefits except PTO or FTO.
