Drive — Per Mile

Overview

Shiba Trucking is seeking Over-the-Road (OTR) Truck Drivers to transport goods across the 48 states of America. This position requires safe and efficient operation of company-assigned trucks, beginning with a truck provided during orientation. Drivers are offered a competitive pay rate and travel expense reimbursement. Employment is available under the Independent Contractor model.

• Transport freight across the lower 48 states while following company schedules and route plans
• Operate trucks assigned during orientation with professionalism and safety
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle readiness
• Adhere to all DOT, federal, and state regulations, including hours-of-service and safety rules
• Maintain accurate logs, including mileage and delivery records
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and company representative

• Valid CDL-A license required
• OTR experience preferred
• Strong focus on safety, time management, and regulatory compliance

• Pay rate: $0.63 per mile (solo)
• Orientation:
  Truck provided during onboarding
• Travel Expenses:
  Reimbursed up to $250, included in the first paycheck
