Class A or B CDL - Truck Driver

Richards Building Supply Co. is currently searching for a CDL Class A or B Driver for our Belmont Ave, Chicago, IL location. Opportunity to learn industry equipment such as the Moffett and the Knuckleboom.

Our delivery drivers are responsible for safely delivering products to the job site, physically unloading material per the customer's request, receiving materials in the warehouse, loading trucks, and processing inventory.

2 years CDL Class A driving experience required or 1 year CDL B driving experience.

• CDL Class A driving experience of 2 years or CDL Class B driving experience of 1 year.
• Desired:
  Moffett and/or Knuckleboom operating experience (training will be provided).
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Heavy lifting experience; must be able to continually lift 50–100 lbs. of material throughout the day (some lifting over 100 lbs. required).
• Must pass background check and pre‑employment DOT drug screen.

• Deliveries will include unloading shingles on one and two story homes with a boom truck.
• Loading trucks with material scheduled for the day’s deliveries in compliance with securing and distributing weight limits according to DOT regulations.
• Unloading trucks and receiving merchandise at the warehouse.
• Move materials and items from receiving to their designated area.
