Cornerstone Information Systems is seeking a Controller to lead day‑to‑day accounting operations and strengthen the financial foundation of our SaaS and solutions‑based business.

Reporting to the EVP, Finance, the Controller will play a key leadership role in overseeing accounting execution, financial reporting, internal controls, audit readiness, and process optimization. This is a hands‑on leadership role ideal for someone who enjoys both managing core accounting responsibilities and building better processes for the future.

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and scalability.
• Oversee general ledger activity, journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, and core accounting functions including A/R, A/P, payroll accounting, and cash management.
• Ensure appropriate revenue recognition, deferrals, billing accuracy, and alignment with customer contracts and recurring revenue models.
• Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, including variance analysis and actionable insights.
• Partner with the EVP, Finance on budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and key SaaS/operational metrics.
• Design, maintain, and improve internal controls, accounting policies, documentation, and audit readiness practices.
• Own and optimize accounting systems and workflows, including ERP, billing, payroll, AP, and AR platforms.
• Drive automation and process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Partner cross‑functionally with Sales, Account Management, HR, Rev Ops, and other teams to support data integrity and business decision‑making.
• Manage, coach, and develop accounting team members.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• CPA certification is not required, but is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting management experience, including general ledger, close, and financial reporting responsibilities.
