Principal Objectives of the Property Accountant
Principal Objective of Position
:
The Property Accountant is responsible for managing accounting functions, including cash management, payroll accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and monthly, quarterly and annual close processes, consolidation and reporting. This position will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with US GAAP, company policies and guidelines, as well as internal controls. This role will provide support to the Director of Accounting and other operational leaders as necessary.

- Responsible for the U.S. GAAP general ledgers, consolidation and reporting for company’s portfolio
- Perform all aspects of month/quarter/year-end closes, prepare monthly reporting packages and quarterly reporting schedules
- Prepare monthly consolidated trial balance, quarterly consolidated financial statements, monthly account reconciliations and other financial schedules as needed
- Record intercompany transactions, confirm balances and coordinate information with intercompany counterparts, prepare and process quarterly cash settlements
- Prepare ad hoc IRS filings, business and property tax filings and governmental data surveys and ensure timely submissions with local and federal agencies
- Perform ad hoc projects as needed

What You'll Be Doing:- Take charge of core accounting functions:

- Prepare consolidated reports that help drive smart decision-making
- Collaborate with a tight-knit team to keep things running like a well-oiled machine
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or economics
- 3+ years of experience in corporate development, private equity, or investment banking (bonus if you’ve worked with tech, software, or semiconductors!)
- Proficiency in Excel and financial software
- A mind that loves numbers and a personality that loves teamwork
- Full-time role with competitive pay starting at $60,000
