Are you an experienced accountant looking for a challenging and rewarding role in a dynamic, fast-paced environment? We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team. This position offers an excellent opportunity to expand your accounting skills and knowledge while working closely with a team of dedicated professionals. You will be responsible for performing a wide range of accounting duties, including managing accounts payable, ensuring regulatory compliance, and utilizing Excel for various tasks.

This position requires a minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

Examine and approve accounts payable invoices, ensuring all payments are accurate and made on time.

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, including tax laws and financial reporting standards.

Use Excel to create spreadsheets, charts, and reports to assist in financial analysis and decision-making.

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Perform account reconciliations and handle any discrepancies or irregularities.

Collaborate with other departments to streamline accounting procedures and operations.

Handle month-end journal entries.

Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations to ensure the company’s accounting policies are up-to-date.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Minimum of 2+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on month-end, accounts payable and regulatory compliance.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create complex spreadsheets and use advanced functions.

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
