Job SummaryThe Graduate Recruitment and Admissions Coordinator supports the recruitment, evaluation, admission, and enrollment of prospective students across master's and doctoral programs.
Department Specific Responsibilities- Serves as a primary point of contact for prospective applicants and collaborates with faculty, academic departments, and universitypartners to advance enrollment goals and support student success.
- Manages admissions operations, oversees applicantcommunications, and coordinates recruitment initiatives andevents.
- Serves as the primary contact for visitors, prospective students, and applicants.
- Manages admissions operations and application reviewworkflows.
- Coordinates recruitment events, information sessions, webinars,and graduate fairs.
- Maintains applicant records and communication campaigns in Slate CRM.
- Supports admitted student conversion and enrollment yield initiatives.
- Assists in the development and implement recruitment strategies for master's and doctoral programs.
- Generates reports and dashboards on recruitment and enrollmenttrends.
- Advises students on admissions requirements and program expectations.
- Coordinates faculty review processes and admissions decisions.
- Interprets and applies university and graduate policies and procedures.
- Assists digital and print marketing materials including presentations and brochures
- Leverages websites, social media, webinars, and virtual eventsto enhance visibility.
- Creates recruitment resources for faculty, staff, and studentambassadors.
- Develops communication campaigns supporting recruitment andyield.
- Oversees the processing and evaluation of all applications foradmissions into that school and accompanying material, such astranscripts, to determine eligibility.
- Maintains records and databases of applications; updates andpurges as necessary; gathers and collates information from records and prepares reports.
- Reviews applications for completeness, contacts applicants forany missing information or to resolve discrepancies and obtains any necessary information from other sources.
- Schedules and oversees any applicant interviews.
- Makes recommendations regarding admissions and contactsapplicant regarding the decision on the admission application.
- Responds to phone and email inquiries on admissions process andstatus of applications; may assist in the design of recruiting events and materials.
- Educates potential students about program courses.
- May supervise temporary staff in the admissions office;monitors and evaluates job performance.
