Office Administrator/ Coordinator
Position Summary
The primary function of a dispatcher is to direct and coordinate the ordering and delivery of materials to customers in day‑to‑day operations. The dispatcher adheres to and promotes corporate policies and manages the use of equipment, trucks, delivery personnel and materials. This employee directs all activities that concern delivery, warehouse and facilities.
Responsibilities- Fast, accurate processing of sales orders and job set‑up information.
- Prepare and confirm appropriate reports supporting sales order processing.
- Process credit memos on the computer.
- Assist customers with phone orders.
- Supervise stocking crews, conduct performance reviews and employee orientation, and coordinate driver training.
- Schedule and dispatch crews to maximize time efficiency and monitor labor costs on each job.
- Compute payroll accurately and on time.
- Train new stockers on safe and correct job performance.
- Complete new‑hire and training paperwork in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with VCR program.
- Maintain triple‑count and job completer program accuracy.
- Manage front counter, office/dispatch, restroom and yard/warehouse cleanliness.
- Ensure trucks are clean and maintained.
- Perform job in a safe manner.
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of related work experience.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to perform basic math quickly and accurately.
- Ability to read road/geographical maps and communicate directions.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to follow instructions with limited guidance.
- Ability to self‑manage, show initiative and be proactive.
- Communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing, to coworkers and customers.
Must be able to remain in a stationary position in an office environment 80% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access files and office machinery. Must be able to operate basic office machinery and communicate with team and management.
Cognitive SkillsMust be able to problem‑solve, prioritize tasks, manage stress, multitask, receive and analyze information, and communicate solutions promptly. Must demonstrate sound judgment and initiative.

Job Location:
Tamarack Materials, Inc. – Bloomington, MN 55431. Base salary range: $43,700.00 to $55,600.00 annually.
