- Friday; 7:00am- 3:30pm

Location:

Bloomington Hospital

Works with the campus Life Safety Prints (LSP's) to check compliance of all rated walls, door assemblies and fire and/or smoke dampers.

Ensures department is compliant with required inspections and maintains code compliance.

Utilizes the work order system to document inspections and repairs.

Coordinates updates to the LSP's with vendors as needed.

Performs other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or GED is required.

Requires knowledge with lock, door, wall and damper assemblies.

Requires a basic understanding of the Life Safety Prints.

Requires the ability to read and interpret information from blueprints, schematics and diagrams.

Requires current knowledge of various federal, state, local, OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and Joint Commission codes and regulations.

Requires general knowledge of computerized building management systems software.

An understanding of NFPA Code 80 is preferred.

Requires a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
