Job SummaryThe Associate, Organizational Change Management (Financial Enterprise Engagement) will support the broader financeorganization supporting change management for multiple projects.
The projects include:
1) Project Horizon - the Indiana University Financial Transformation Initiative to modernize IU's overallfinancial operations and systems to align them with the needs of amulti-billion dollar, public higher education institution with multiple R1 campuses,
2) Anaplan IU Finance's initiative to implement a new budgeting software and the associated streamliningof our budgeting processes and reporting and
3) Procurement Transformation the initiative to take key findings from ourprocurement review to support the implementation. These projects will help modernize Indiana University's financial process,structure, and systems to strengthen the financial health of IU nowand in the future. This position is housed within the VPCFOorganization and reports directly to the Associate Vice President of Financial Enterprise Engagement.
- Designs and executes end-to-end change management strategiesguiding stakeholders through awareness, adoption, and long-termownership to drive cultural alignment across transformation initiatives.
- In partnership with VPCFO Communications, UCM, and external consultants, create tailored communication plans, leadershiptalking points, and messaging that clearly articulate the scope,technology shifts, and business rationale (the What and Why) behindproject goals.
- Conducts stakeholder impact assessments to identify risks,manage resistance, and build strong working relationships across
Indiana University campuses and central administrative units. - Develops and delivers targeted training programs that equipcampus users to comfortably navigate new platforms, tools, and processes.
- Facilitates project committees, working groups, and externalvendor interactions to ensure cross-functional alignment, securebuy-in, and navigate institutional governance workflows.
- Defines project scope, goals, and key deliverables while providing regular status, governance, and decision-making updatesto the Core Team and Executive Management.
- Manages large projects of the most complex nature, from startto finish, ensuring on time completion within budget.
- Analyzes, tracks, forecasts, and reports on project metrics andshortfalls.
- Communicates ongoing changes in tasks, goals, or performance;supervises and trains project staff as needed.
- Develops and maintains project schedules, goals, and communication.
- Matrix manages teams to develop, evaluate, and revise projectprocesses.
- Collaborates with other departments to ensure that project objectives are achieved within established time frames.
- Participates in client meetings, contract finalization, and development of requirements and specifications.
- Provides guidance and support to less experienced peers.
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (preferably in finance,accounting, data analytics, information systems or related field)
- Advanced degree (MBA, or related discipline)
- 5 years of relevant experience Preferred
- 5 years Organization Change Management field experience,finance, compliance, audit, operational planning, or related experience
- Proven excellence in organizational change management
- Higher education, public sector, or governmental organizationexperience strongly preferred
- Experience managing IT implementation, ideally in a finance function.
- Change Management (i.e., Prosci or similar) certification
- Ability to drive multiple projects to successful completion.

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and tooperate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periodsof time moving around an office environment and the campus.…
