Job Summary Department Specific Responsibilities
  • Focuses much of their time on helping oversee all bystanderintervention programs and efforts that the Office for Sexual Violence Prevention and Victim Advocacy implements.
  • Collaborates with various departments and campus partners toprovide trauma informed outreach and educational programming tomeet the office's goal of providing consistent, impactful, and inclusive programming that is accessible to all Indiana University Bloomington students.
  • Develop and coordinate programming.
  • Attends and participates in prevention programs, program development and prevention trainings by request.
  • Develops bystander intervention programs and initiatives topromote a culture of care on campus.
  • Oversees It's On Us, a bystander intervention program all firstyear and transfer students are expected to attend.
  • Serves as a member of the sexual violence prevention and advocacy team, providing outreach and raising awareness aboutprevention and advocacy services provided by the department.
General Responsibilities
  • Creates and manages a comprehensive and strategic approach todigital marketing and awareness campaigns.
  • Creates a comprehensive social media strategy and maintainsunit social media and online presence.
  • Creates and leads campaigns that include awareness and outreach events.
  • Sets marketing performance metrics and evaluates goal achievement.
  • Supports the administrative priorities of the office.
Qualifications

Combinations of related education and experience may be considered. Education beyond the minimum required may be substituted for work experience. Work experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted for education.

Education Required
  • Bachelor's degree in mental health, social work, student affairs, health education, or related field
Preferred
  • Master's degree in a mental health, social work, student affairs, health education, or a related field
Work Experience Required
  • 1 year related work experience

Working Conditions / Demands

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and tooperate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periodsof time moving around an office environment and the campus. Theperson in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.

Advertised Salary

$46,695.00 - $48,695.00 on an annualized basis.

Work Hours

Standard hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm with occasional evenings and weekends.
