About Onramp
Onramp Bitcoin is a leading Bitcoin-only financial services company supporting individuals, businesses, and institutions to secure their Bitcoin holdings via our multi‑institutional custody solution. We hire passionate people who want to work with a high agency and a fully distributed startup team.
The RoleWe're scaling fast across MIC, Trade, Earn, IRA, and a growing platform of partner integrations. We need a product manager who can hold the full picture — product, engineering, operations, and compliance — and turn it into a clear, sequenced plan the team can execute against.
This is an individual contributor role. You will write the specs, run the partner calls, drive the roadmap, and roll up your sleeves wherever the company needs you. No layers, no ride‑alongs, no pure orchestration. On any given week, you might:
- Lead a solution architecture exercise on end‑to‑end dollar, stablecoin, and Bitcoin movement.
- Run a partnership conversation with a bank, card issuer, or stablecoin provider and translate it into a product spec.
- Write a PRD for a new product surface — Earn, Trade, IRA, MIC, or the card program — and shepherd it through engineering and compliance.
- Pull together a roadmap view that reconciles leadership vision, engineering capacity, operational constraints, and compliance requirements.
- Spec a new internal admin tool or workflow and prioritize it against client‑facing work.
- Build an AI‑leveraged workflow that compresses a multi‑day process into an hour.
- Own the product roadmap across MIC, Trade, Earn, IRA, and the card program.
- Lead solution architecture exercises that define the end state and the sequence to get there.
- Translate leadership vision and partner conversations into a concrete, buildable scope.
- Make and defend prioritization calls; kill the things that don't earn their place.
- Write clear PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria the engineering team can build from.
- Run sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release coordination in Linear.
- Partner with engineering and design on trade‑offs, scope, and sequencing.
- Stand up product metrics and instrumentation so we know what's working.
- Run product‑side conversations with banking, custody, and infrastructure partners.
- Translate partner constraints and capabilities into product decisions.
- Align leadership, engineering, operations, and compliance behind a shared plan.
- Step in wherever the company needs you — including outside the formal product lane.
- Default to AI leverage.
- Build, share, and improve AI workflows that take manual work off the team.
- Treat AI fluency as a core competency, not a side skill.
- Talk to clients, RIAs, and partners on a regular cadence — direct customer contact is part of the job.
- Pressure‑test ideas before they become roadmap items.
- Bring product decisions back to data, not opinion.
Required Experience & Skills
- 5–10 years in product management, ideally at a fintech, crypto, banking, or financial infrastructure company.
- Track record as a strong individual contributor — you've shipped product hands‑on, not just managed people who ship.
- Direct experience with money movement, payments, custody, or regulated financial products.
- Demonstrated ownership of solution architecture — not just feature management.
- High AI tooling fluency. You already use Claude, Gemini, or similar tools daily and have built workflows that meaningfully change how you work.
- Strong written communication. You'll write specs, partner‑facing docs, and roadmap narratives that land with technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Bias to action and willingness to help anywhere — product, ops, compliance, or wherever the bottleneck is.
- Comfort running partner conversations and translating them into product scope.
- Experience working remotely on high‑agency, async teams.
- Bitcoin or digital asset product experience.
- Background in card programs, banking‑as‑a‑service, or stablecoin infrastructure.
- Worked at an MSB, qualified custodian, or RIA‑facing platform.
- Experience with Linear, Figma, Sanity, and the broader modern product stack.
- High agency and first‑principles thinkers.
- Flat structure, builder‑first execution culture.
- AI‑native operating model — Claude, Gemini, and custom skills across every function.
- Mission‑driven:
Bitcoin only, no altcoins. - Collaborative, transparent, and low‑ego.
- Remote‑first, globally distributed team.
