Corpus Christi Catholic School is seeking a faithful, enthusiastic and student-centered School Counselor to to join our team for the school year. Applicants must be in support of the mission and vision of Corpus Christi Catholic School and have a passion for supporting the academic, social-emotional, and spiritual development of students in a PreK-8th grade school setting. The ideal candidate is warm, collaborative, organized, and skilled in supporting students through preventative, short-term counseling and school wide programming within a faith-filled environment.

- Recognizes and supports the mission of Corpus Christi Catholic School by speaking, acting, and instructing consistent with the teachings of the Catholic Church
- Helps build the school's faith community through participation in school, religious, and service activities
- Provides age-appropriate classroom lessons and school wide support related to social-emotional learning, leadership, emotional regulation, and positive peer relationships
- Supports students through short-term individual counseling and small group interventions; refers families to outside resources when long-term or clinical support is needed
- Collaborates with teachers, administration, and support staff to identify and address student needs
- Assists with the development and implementation of behavior supports and student intervention plans
- Encourages and maintains effective communication with families while respecting confidentiality
- Participates in student supporting meetings, faculty meetings, and professional collaboration
- Supports school safety procedures, mandated reporting requirements, and crisis response as needed
- Continues to participate in professional development by attending seminars, workshops or professional meetings

Required Qualifications- Current Professional Educators License
- Bachelor's Degree/Master's Degree with school counseling, counseling, social work, or related field
- Experience working with children in a school setting preferred

- A salary range from $45,000 - $65,000 depending on years of experience
