This is a general posting for anticipated administrative positions with the MCCSC for the 2026-27 school year. Qualified applicants will be included as candidates to be considered for administrative vacancies.
The principal serves as the instructional leader of the school, responsible for fostering a positive learning environment, promoting student achievement, supporting staff development, and building strong relationships with families and the community. The principal leads school improvement efforts through collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and alignment with corporation goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Valid and appropriate Indiana Administrator's License
* Master's degree required
* Minimum of three years of teaching experience
* One to three years of demonstrated success as a building administrator or other administrative experience is preferred
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & EXPERIENCE
* Strong background in curriculum, instruction, and assessment with evidence of successful instructional leadership
* Experience using data to develop and implement intervention plans
* Demonstrated ability to work closely with various socioeconomic and/or cultural populations
* Knowledge of MTSS, Special Education, and 504 processes
* Experience supporting English language learners and individualized instruction
* Demonstrated success leading school improvement initiatives resulting in increased student achievement
* Commitment to equity and working with diverse populations
* Strong skills in staff evaluation, coaching, and professional development
* Ability to build and sustain positive relationships with students, staff, families, and community partners
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency with instructional technology and ability to model its use
