Position SummaryThe Center for Possible Minds at Indiana University, Bloomington, invites applications for Postdoctoral Fellows to join its Program for Advanced Research in Diverse Intelligences. The fellowship supports scholars studying intelligence, cognition, and mind in diverse forms from a variety of disciplinary perspectives. Candidates must embrace interdisciplinary scholarship and enthusiasm for collaboration across disciplines.
Responsibilities- Pursue research activities in one or more primary areas of scholarship.
- Explore collaborative interdisciplinary projects.
- Organize meetings and workshops at the Center.
- Propose new Center initiatives.
- Participate in Center activities and seminars.
- Teach classes in the appropriate department(s) or program(s), subject to curriculum needs and available funds.
The fellowship lasts 2 years, with fellows appointed to one-year contracts and possibility for renewal. Start date is flexible; positions can begin as soon as August 1, 2026.
Salary: $60,000 per year. Health benefits provided. Research support: $3,000 each year.
QualificationsApplicants must have a Ph.D. in hand by the start of the fellowship.
