Corpus Christi Catholic School is seeking a faithful, enthusiastic and student-centered Junior High Paraprofessional to join our team for the school year. Applicants must support the mission and vision of the school and have a passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs through collaboration, classroom support, and targeted instruction. The primary responsibility is coordinating and facilitating testing accommodations while promoting confidence, independence, and academic growth.
The Junior High Paraprofessional will help ensure students receive accommodations outlined in their learning plan, assist with classroom support, supervise students as assigned, and contribute to a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities- Recognizes and supports the mission by speaking, acting, and instructing consistent with the teachings of the Catholic Church.
- Helps build the school's faith community through participation in school, religious, and service activities.
- Attends district meetings and supports implementation of IEP/ISP accommodations and modifications for Junior High students.
- Coordinates and facilitates testing accommodations as outlined in individual accommodation plans.
- Administers assessments in accordance with accommodation requirements, including:
- Extended time
- Small-group or individual testing
- Read‑aloud accommodations
- Frequent breaks
- Other approved accommodations
- Maintains a secure, quiet, and distraction‑free testing environment.
- Communicates with teachers regarding testing schedules, student progress, and completed assessments.
- Maintains confidentiality regarding student accommodations and assessment materials.
- Supports classroom routines and reinforces behavioral expectations.
- Supervises students during passing periods, lunch, recess, morning assembly, or other assigned times.
- Models appropriate behavior consistent with the values and expectations of the school.
- Works collaboratively with classroom teachers, student support team, and administration to support student success.

Required Qualifications- Current or eligible to obtain an Illinois Paraprofessional Education License (or PEL)
- Associate's degree or higher from an accredited institution
- Experience working with children in a school setting preferred
