Assistant/Associate/Full Professor Positions, Kelley School of Business, Business Law and Ethics
The Business Law and Ethics department at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University-Bloomington, seeks applications for tenured/tenure-track positions effective Fall 2027. The department has 29 full‑time faculty members who research and teach a variety of business law topics at undergraduate and graduate levels. Faculty publish in top law and business journals and are known for teaching excellence. Current research interests span corporate compliance, employment, health, intellectual property, securities, sports, and technology law, white‑collar crime, critical thinking, and business ethics.
We welcome candidates with broad research and teaching interests in business law and ethics, and especially those specializing in corporate finance, tax, and/or mergers and acquisitions.
Basic qualifications:
assistant‑professor rank without a tenured or higher rank appointed. Candidates must hold a J.D. degree with an excellent academic record (or demonstrate potential to publish in top law reviews or peer‑reviewed business journals), be an outstanding teacher, provide meaningful service, and contribute positively to a multicultural campus.
Applicants should include a Statement of Teaching Philosophy that may incorporate a description of relevant teaching experience and accomplishments. Supporting evidence such as peer or student teaching evaluations, instructional artifacts, and other relevant material may be appended.
