The Finance Department in the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University Bloomington invites applicants for tenured/tenure-track positions at the advanced assistant, associate, or full levels beginning in fall 2027. A completed doctoral degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or related area is required. Candidates should also have a record of high-quality publications and demonstrated teaching excellence. Teaching requirements may include undergraduate, master's, and doctoral-level classes.
Candidates who have completed or will complete their degree during or after 2026 should not apply for this position and should instead apply for the separate position titled "Assistant Professor in Finance."
Those desiring further information on these positions may contact the Department Chair, Finance Department, at KSBFIN.
Applications received by September 15, 2026, will be assured full consideration, but applications will continue to be accepted until the positions are filled.
Before a conditional offer of employment with tenure is finalized, candidates will be asked to disclose any pending investigations or previous findings of sexual or professional misconduct. They will also be required to authorize an inquiry by Indiana University Bloomington with all current and former employers along these lines. The relevance of information disclosed or ascertained in the context of this process to a candidate’s eligibility for hire will be evaluated by Indiana University Bloomington on a case-by-case basis.
Applicants should be aware, however, that Indiana University Bloomington takes the matters of sexual and professional misconduct very seriously.
