Project Manager Sr

Position Summary

Donaldson is a technology‑driven company focused on growth through innovation and a customer‑centric approach. As a member of our Life Sciences Advanced Membranes Solutions group, you will lead product development projects from initiation to completion, serving the Medical Device, Vehicle Electrification, and Packaging markets. This role is ideal for an individual who is well organized, collaborative, and passionate about driving results in Donaldson’s strategic growth area.

• Serve as a cross‑functional project leader with sales, engineering, quality, purchasing, and operations, holding teams accountable for commitments, resolving issues, and leveraging organizational resources.
• Collaborate with, support, and influence a global environment, impacting programs that span multiple regions.
• Manage dependencies within and across programs.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate product development projects to ensure smooth transition from concept to production using effective project‑management methods.
• Assess potential risks to project objectives and timeline proactively and recommend corrective action.
• Ensure all key activities and milestones are met for product development programs, enabling reliable, validated designs to be developed.
• Provide timely and accurate information and status updates to project sponsors, end users, and management.
• Promptly flag significant deviations beyond control and recommend corrective action.
• Develop relationships and collaborate with other business units and PM teams on process improvement and maturity.
• Support optimization of the product release process.

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Fluent with project‑management frameworks, methodologies, and tools.
• Strong presentation and communication skills at all levels.
• Initiative, collaboration, global cross‑functional leadership, influence without authority, process orientation, results‑driven, and organizational awareness.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical aptitude.
• Technical degree in engineering or related field (preferred).
• Experience managing innovation projects.
• PMP or other program‑management certification (preferred).
• Experience with engineering change processes and product development/release processes.
• Medical device manufacturing experience (ISO
  13485 or similar).

• Demonstrated leadership qualities and experience with complex cross‑functional teams.
• Experience with formal engineering change administration.
• Background in medical device manufacturing.
• Comfort with global program coordination.

Up to 5%

Annual Salary Range: $86,200–$111,000.
