Job Summary
The Senior Electrical Engineer will work in a fast‑paced multi‑discipline team environment responsible for designing building systems and producing construction documentation for institutional projects in the higher education, government, mission critical and healthcare markets. We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to be part of our firm.
Responsibilities- Design electrical systems including lighting, power, fire alarm, telecom and security.
- Develop calculations for lighting systems and associated controls.
- Develop electrical system design calculations.
- Prepare detailed design documents in REVIT.
- Perform QA/QC design work.
- Lead a project team and manage projects.
- Coordinate with Owners and Architects.
- Coordinate work with other disciplines.
- Complete code compliance research.
- Oversee and provide guidance to junior engineers.
- Assist in the procurement of new work, including the development of client relations.
- Minimum of 8 years’ design experience as a registered engineer.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer license (PE).
- Experience with complex institutional projects.
- LEED experience; certification desired.
- Familiarity with codes, standards and design guidelines.
- Excellent work ethic and attitude.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational communication skills, with the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work.
- Ability to lead a team as well as work as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Revit and MS Office.

- 10% travel
The expected base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $120,000 USD per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
