ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Performance Metrics: Meet or exceed performance targets related to customer satisfaction, product sales, and financial wellness conversations. Continuously strive to improve skills and knowledge through training and professional development opportunities.
- Financial Needs Assessment: Conduct comprehensive financial assessments to identify customer improvement areas and growth opportunities. Analyze accounts, transactions, and behaviors to offer personalized recommendations.
- Operational Soundness: Ensure compliance with all banking regulations, policies, and procedures while maintaining efficiency and accuracy in operational activities and financial-center security. Identify and implement strategies for continuous operational improvement.
- Customer Engagement & Relationship Building: Initiate proactive conversations, build rapport, and anticipate customer needs to enhance their financial well-being. Provide ongoing support, follow-up, and guidance.
- Leadership and Culture: Deliver exceptional customer service experiences, address concerns promptly, and turn negative experiences into positive ones. Represent and embody the Northwest Bank culture.
- Compliance & Regulations: Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Protect customer information and mitigate risk.
- Technology & Efficiency: Navigate Microsoft Office and other department-specific software to maximize productivity. Lead daily branch operational tasks including opening and closing.
- Team Collaboration & Additional Duties: Work as part of a team, utilize on-site equipment, follow security and dual-control processes, and complete special projects as requested.
- Establish effective working relationships with team members and contribute to problem solving and decision making.
- Present and express ideas and information clearly and concisely in oral and written form appropriate to the audience.
- Listen actively to achieve understanding, share information, and facilitate open exchange of ideas.
- Develop and use tracking systems to monitor progress and use resources such as time and information effectively.
- Make sound decisions based on perceptive and analytical processes and exercise good judgment in gray areas.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- One year banking and/or retail experience preferred.
- Sales experience preferred.
- Customer service experience preferred.
