Responsibilities
- Open and maintain customer accounts and run a teller drawer as required.
- Support client engagement through active calling, conversations and follow‑up.
- Perform daily activities that align with the First Financial Bank Experience, including partnering with internal constituencies, ensuring timely follow‑up calls, maintaining operational and risk‑management standards, and assisting clients through branch, drive‑through, phone and email channels.
- Model the company’s mission and values, serve as a trusted advisor using the First Client Conversation Model, and participate in site‑center huddles and meetings.
- Consistently meet or exceed sales, service and referral goals set by management and collaborate with the district and lines of business to help clients meet their financial needs.
- Provide digital assistance and stay updated on bank products, processes and procedures, especially complex items.
- Travel up to 60 miles per day and qualify for mileage reimbursement above the current commute.
- 3–4 years of client service experience in a retail banking environment.
- 3–4 years of sales and service experience with a track record of meeting sales and service goals.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Notary authorization (preferred but not required).
- Strong bank product knowledge and solid sales skills.
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
- Frequently lift and carry up to 10 lbs.
- Frequently sit, stand, walk and drive.
The associate is responsible for meeting all compliance requirements imposed on First Financial Bank by State and Federal law and regulation, as well as all related First Financial Bank policies and procedures. This includes Bank Secrecy Act, Anti‑Money Laundering, OFAC, Suspicious Activity reporting and other lending and deposit compliance requirements.
Pay$18.00–$20.19 per hour.
