Health Promotion is proud to be a department within the Office of Student Life, committed to promoting learning and respect in all programs, interactions, and partnerships. We commit to creating and maintaining a welcoming environment where all people are respected, valued, and affirmed so that they may know they matter and belong at Indiana University.
Health Promotion at Indiana University‑Bloomington supports student success through a holistic and integrated approach to wellbeing. Health Promotion provides a broad range of prevention, education, and intervention services grounded in evidence‑based practices, assessment, and evaluation. Core service areas include Substance Use Intervention Services, a Collegiate Recovery Community, Nutrition Services, and Health Education and Outreach, which offers workshops on topics such as mental health, sexual health education, hazing prevention, and alcohol and other drugs prevention.
Together, these programs advance student wellbeing and contribute to a healthier, more thriving campus community.
