As a
** Physical Therapist Assistant**, you’ll contribute to our success in the following ways:
* Provide physical therapy services according to the treatment plan established by the Physical Therapist.
* Help patients work toward therapy goals that improve mobility, function, and independence.
* Monitor patient progress and promptly report changes in condition or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
* Educate patients and caregivers on home therapy programs and techniques to support continued progress.
* Teach patients and families how to safely use assistive devices, including canes, walkers, wheelchairs, prosthetics, and orthotics.
* Deliver safe, high-quality therapy services in accordance with physician orders, clinical standards, and state practice guidelines
** What is Required?
*** Current, unrestricted PTA license valid for the state of work
* Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program approved by the American Therapy Association
* 6+ months experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant is preferred
* Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds, including positioning or transferring patients and moving equipment
* Must possess a valid driver's license, maintain an acceptable driving record, OR have reliable transportation to travel between patient homes and assigned work locations
