Position Summary
The Director, IT Business Relationship Management (BRM) will act as the strategic partner for Harmon, ensuring technology solutions align with business objectives, drive efficiencies, and support growth. The role bridges the gap between business stakeholders and IT, fostering collaboration and delivering technology solutions that provide business value. The incumbent will act as a business partner for the Harmon management team, anticipating business issues, providing technological insights, and representing segment needs within the IT function.
Responsibilities- Strategic Planning:
Work with the Harmon leadership team and Enterprise IT to articulate, align, and enable an IT roadmap and support the segment initiatives. - Solution design and evaluation:
Partner with Harmon and Enterprise IT to design and evaluate technology solutions that address identified business needs, modernize applications, and ensure alignment with industry best practices, scalability, security, and compliance. - Core System Selection and Implementation Execution:
Select applications for Supply Chain Modernization and ERP replacement, lead implementations, and ensure business requirements are met. - Business Relationship Management:
Act as liaison and advocate for the segment within the Apogee IT organization, translate business goals into technology opportunities, and champion IT usage. - Segment IT Leadership:
Lead the Harmon IT team of business analysts, manage hiring, performance, budgeting, vendor relationships, and technology spend. - Office Technical Health:
Partner with IT infrastructure to support the footprint across 15+ offices, manufacturing facilities, and job sites.

Minimum:
Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, Engineering, Construction Management or related field. 10+ years of broad‑based business experience with at least 5 years of progressive leadership. Preferred:
Experience at an Engineering & Construction firm, knowledge of BIM, VDC, PDM, PLM, MES, and construction project management tools.
$160,000 - $190,000
