Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Product Sales SME for Hybrid Cloud & AI Storage, you will utilize your deep knowledge and experience with IBM's Hybrid Cloud & AI Storage products to drive business growth. You will leverage your expertise to shape sales strategies and deliver solutions that meet client needs. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Drive Sales Strategies:
    Develop and execute sales plans that capitalize on market opportunities and drive revenue growth for IBM's Hybrid Cloud & AI Storage products, including Storage Ceph System, Storage Discover, and Storage for Netezza.
  • Deliver Solution Expertise:
    Provide in-depth product knowledge and technical expertise to clients, helping them understand the value proposition of IBM's Hybrid Cloud & AI Storage offerings, such as Storage for watsonx and Storage Scale System.
  • Collaborate with Clients:
    Work closely with clients to understand their storage needs and develop tailored solutions that address their specific pain points, utilizing products like Cloud Object Storage and Fusion HCI SW & Fusion SDS (TPS).
  • Shape Market Messaging:
    Utilize your deep product knowledge to inform and shape market messaging, ensuring that sales teams are equipped to effectively communicate the value of IBM's Hybrid Cloud & AI Storage portfolio.
  • Optimize Sales Performance:
    Continuously analyze sales performance and provide insights to optimize sales strategies, improve customer engagement, and increase revenue growth.
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
  • Deep Knowledge of Hybrid Cloud & AI Storage Products:
    Experience with IBM's Hybrid Cloud & AI Storage products, including Storage Ceph System, Storage Discover, Storage for Netezza, Storage for watsonx, Storage Scale System, Storage Suite for IBM Cloud Paks, Cloud Object Storage, Fusion HCI SW & Fusion SDS (TPS), and Fusion HCI System.
  • Expertise in Storage Solutions:
    Deep understanding of storage solutions and ability to develop tailored solutions that address specific client pain points.
  • Experience with Sales Strategy Development:
    Proven experience in developing and executing sales plans that drive revenue growth for complex technology products.
  • Technical Expertise in Storage Products:
    In-depth knowledge of technical aspects of Hybrid Cloud & AI Storage products, enabling effective communication of value propositions to clients.
  • Experience in Shaping Market Messaging:
    Ability to inform and shape market messaging, leveraging deep product knowledge to equip sales teams with effective value communication strategies.
Preferred Technical And Professional Experience
  • Deep Expertise in Storage:
    Deep expertise in storage solutions, with experience in developing tailored solutions that address specific client pain points, utilizing IBM's Hybrid Cloud & AI Storage products.
  • Advanced Sales Strategy Development:
    Experience with developing and executing sales plans that drive revenue growth for complex technology products, capitalizing on market opportunities.
  • Technical Acumen in Storage:
    In-depth knowledge of technical aspects of Hybrid Cloud & AI Storage products, enabling effective communication of value propositions to clients.
