Data Center Engineer

Please note that this position is based on our campus in Madison, WI, and requires relocation to the area. We recruit nationally and provide financial relocation assistance.

As a Data Center Engineer, you'll work closely with server and network engineers from Epic's internal IT team, helping to ensure all IT equipment in our data centers runs efficiently and effectively. You'll be responsible for taking into account various data center variables when performing installs, including physical space, power consumption, network connectivity, cooling, monitoring, and existing infrastructure topology. With an increased focus on infrastructure as code for deployments, you'll also leverage technologies like Terraform and Ansible.

You’ll be an expert within a small, collaborative team that keeps us up and running as a company so that we can help some of the nation’s largest healthcare organizations improve patient care.
