Printpack Bloomington is looking for candidates to fill machine operator trainee positions in the Finishing Department. While manufacturing experience is helpful for this role, training is available for the right candidate.
Schedule- Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Friday–Sunday 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Work 36 hours, get paid for 40)
- Monday–Thursday 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Pay for this position starts at $19.00 per hour. An additional night shift premium of $2.50 applies for night positions between 7:00 PM and 7:00 AM.

- Operate machines and make general adjustments while reporting to operators during breaks.
- Stage material and ensure proper setup of bag machines.
- Perform routine safety inspections of equipment.
- Maintain housekeeping standards in the work area.
- Ensure product meets quality requirements.
- Rework quality issues as needed.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Stable work history.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
- Strong time‑management skills and ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to troubleshoot problems.
- Lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Climbing, kneeling, bending and squatting.
- Grasping, pushing, pulling and fine‑motor skills.
- Standing for extended periods.
- Wearing personal protective equipment, including hearing protection, steel‑toe shoes and safety glasses.
- Manufacturing setting with exposure to noise levels above 80 dB.
- Operation of complex machinery, solvents, fumes and inks.
- Variable temperatures.
