Job Description

The QA Inspector will complete and record all specified lab tests on production, perform 1st piece sign‑off prior to prime, review work in process and finished goods during manufacturing to ensure company requirements are met, and coordinate effective communication with the Quality Manager, other quality team members, and customers.

Position Responsibilities
  • Determine and verify product quality per customer expectations through various pre‑determined lab tests.
  • Conduct pre‑determined floor audits, reviewing work in process, finished goods staging area, and hold area.
  • Train production employees on film physical property testing, maintain testing equipment, calibration records, coordinate repairs with vendors, and work with Synergy for COA backup.
  • Assist with investigation of customer complaints, including records review, film analysis, and root cause determination.
  • Provide quality focus in staff activities, schedule meetings, trials, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide occasional off‑shift and overtime support as required.
Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive troubleshooting skills.
  • Familiarity with email and spreadsheet programs.
  • Proactive communication skills with Production Leads and operators.
  • Professional demeanor and ability to interact professionally with co‑workers, customers, or visitors.
