QA Specialist - Analyst/Manager
Position Responsibilities
- Complete and record all specified lab tests on production.
- Conduct 1st piece sign-off prior to production going into prime.
- Review work in process and finished goods materials during manufacturing to ensure they meet company requirements.
- Coordinate effective communication with the Quality Manager, other quality and Amcor team members, and customers.
- Determine and verify product quality per customer expectations through conducting various pre-determined lab tests.
- Audit production floor for safety, quality, and housekeeping issues.
- Conduct floor audits, reviewing work in process, finished goods staging area, and hold area.
- Train production employees on film physical property testing.
- Maintain testing equipment, calibration records, coordinate with test equipment repair vendors, work with Synergy for COA backup.
- Assist in investigation of customer complaints through records review, film analysis, and root cause determination.
- Provide a quality focus in staff activities, scheduling meetings, trials, process problems, etc.
- Support occasional off‑shift and overtime as required.
- Strong organization and interpersonal skills to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with e‑mail and spreadsheet programs.
- Proactive communication skills to production leads and operators.
- Professional demeanor; ability to interact professionally with co‑workers, customers, or visitors.
