Supply Chain Supervisor

Location:

Bloomington, MN (must work regularly at the facility).

• Supervise and coordinate activities of buyers and planners/schedulers in expediting the flow of materials, parts and assemblies.
• Schedule production operations as needed.
• Evaluate data such as job orders, product specifications, operations sheets, and materials inventory lists.
• Establish efficient allocation and scheduling of parts, materials, machines, and sequences of operations.
• Manage inventory by owning the cycle count process and evaluating accuracy of records and inventory locations.
• Determine work procedures, prepare work schedules, and expedite workflow.
• Work with all plant departments to resolve problems affecting production schedules.
• Conduct meetings with suppliers and provide information and instruction to departments to enable employees to perform duties.
• Prepare composite reports from individual reports of subordinates.
• Supervise cost reduction projects working with suppliers, engineering, production, and corporate to achieve results.
• Handle errors and complaints by working with departments and customers to ensure adjustments and resolution.
• Establish procedures for production control activities.
• Provide training to support established procedures.
• Assign duties and review work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
• Support management in efforts to transfer products between plants as needed.
• Support Life Sciences business with product and supplier development activities.

• High School Diploma (minimum).
• 3+ years of Supply Chain experience.
• Bachelor's degree (preferred).
• Supervisory or lead experience (preferred).
• Experience with Oracle or other ERP systems (preferred).
• APICS certification (preferred).

Annual salary range: $78,400 - $100,900. Actual salaries will vary based on applicable experience, training, education, and performance.
