ShiftShift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience- 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
- Must have at least 18 months of Progressive Care Unit experience.
- Experience with Cerner is required from any number of months.
- Candidates must have an Indiana license or compact license (required for submission).
- This role may require floating to additional units and locations.
- Travel only; local not allowed.
- Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
- 12 month gap required between staff placement at Program:

Aya Program - IU Health. - IU Health will not allow IN RN’s to work at their facilities. Exceptions include:
Periop/OR RN’s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS.

Required Skills / Experience- Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, post cardiac surgery (directly or indirectly from OR). Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation/replacement (TAVI/TAVR);
Arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care/management, PICC line management; titrate cardiac drips, titrate vasoactive drips. - Post Cardiac Angiogram, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Medications, Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips (no titration), BiPAP/CPAP management/maintenance, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Non‑invasive airway management, Professional Topics and Skills, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Work Settings, MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry – on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Endocrine/Metabolic, IV insulin protocols, Gastrointestinal, Feeding tube care and management.
- Previous charge experience is preferred.

- Pacemakers/Temporary/Permanent, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, TR Band.
- Genitourinary/Renal, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Renal failure, Phlebotomy.
- Manage Vasoactive drips – no titration, PCA, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring.
- Neurological/Psychiatric, Substance Withdrawal, Respiratory.
- Chest tubes – Emerson/Pleur Evac, Tracheostomy care/management.
- Wound Care/Wound Vac.
- Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
- You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

- Shift: 3x12s or 4x12s
- AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto‑offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted eduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24 hrs or the offer must be declined.
5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
