Registered Nurse - Cardiology - Ambulatory Triage

• Minimum one year of RN experience. Upcoming or recent nurse graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Serve as a vital clinical resource for a high‑volume department supporting 24 cardiology providers. Responsibilities include triaging live incoming calls using nursing judgment per protocols, communicating abnormal results, conducting in‑office nurse triage visits, and advocating patients between providers and patients.

This is a PRN, day shift position. Clinic hours: 8-5pm Monday‑Friday.

• Requires an Associate of Nursing (ASN);
  Bachelor's of Nursing (BSN) preferred. Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Candidates not from an accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience; subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• May require ability to assess patients without face‑to‑face interaction.
• Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
