Registered Nurse-Emergency Department- PRN

Overview

Shift: PRN, Rotating – ED – Bloomington Hospital.

All shifts will require picking up 1 overnight on‑call shift every 6 weeks.

• Provide patient care in a fast‑paced emergency department.
• Balance nurse‑to‑patient ratios while delivering excellent patient care.
• Acquire or maintain TNCC, ENPC, SANE, CEN, TCRN, and CPEN certificates.
• Become a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner/Forensic Nurse Examiner through the SANE/FNE program.

• 1 year RN experience required.
• Associate of Nursing (ASN) degree required;
  Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active Registered Nurse license in Indiana or NLC RN license.
• Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Basic Life Support certification through the AHA required.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty.
