Registered Nurse-OBGYN-Ambulatory

Responsibilities

Join our OBGYN Clinic, where RNs play a vital role in providing compassionate, specialized care to patients throughout pregnancy, surgery preparation, and recovery—all in a supportive outpatient setting with no weekends, holidays, or call. This PRN supplemental position includes responsibilities such as performing and interpreting non‑stress tests, administering vaccines, delivering prenatal education, providing pre‑ and post‑operative teaching, and managing telephone triage.

• Associates of Nursing (ASN);
  Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• RN graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions may be considered for candidates without such graduation if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience, subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• Ability to assess patients without face‑to‑face interaction.
• Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
