Overview
We are seeking an individual with a minimum of one year of OBGYN RN experience. We welcome upcoming or recent nurse graduates.
Join our OBGYN Clinic where RNs provide specialized care to patients throughout pregnancy, surgery preparation, and recovery in an outpatient setting with no weekends, holidays, or call. This PRN supplemental position includes responsibilities such as performing and interpreting non‑stress tests, administering vaccines, delivering prenatal education, providing pre‑ and post‑operative teaching, and managing telephone triage. This is a supplemental, PRN position with no weekends or holidays.
Qualifications- Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN);
Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred. Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license. - Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Exceptions: candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of relevant clinical experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
- Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
- Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
- May require ability to assess patients without face‑to‑face interaction.
- Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.
