2 Years Required
Skillset Requirements:
Required Med/Surg;
Starting IVs, Nasal Cannula. Preferred Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias, previous charge experience. CERNER Required.

Unit Information:
Unit is Medical Surgical, directly adjacent to the Emergency Department. Patients being held overnight for continued work up as observation patients go to this unit. Similar to a clinical decision unit. Patient Diagnoses:
Medical Surgical Only; COVID, Abd pain, resp destress, and any symptom based that requires further work up.

Effective 11/30/24, IU Health will not allow IN RN s to work at their facilities (SEE EXCEPTIONS BELOW).

** Periop/OR RN s, Allied and Ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. These IN travelers are allowed to work past the 11/30 deadline. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS**
