Position Overview
Bloomington, IL - USA. Opportunity for CRNA at the Level II trauma center, OSF St. Joseph Medical Center. OSF St. Joseph has six ORs, a recently acquired da Vinci Surgical System, and Mako Robotic‑Assisted Technology. Fully accredited by The Joint Commission, a magnet hospital, and named a Top U.S. Hospital by the Leapfrog Group. The facility offers neuro, ortho, general, and other case assignments, and CRNAs can perform regional blocks.
The team environment is dynamic and collaborative, led by Todd LaDage, CRNA.
- Pre‑anesthesia assessment; obtains and/or verifies patient consent.
- Discuss anesthetic options and risks with the patient.
- Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
- Monitor the patient’s physiological condition.
- Perform clinical intervention as needed.
- Perform regional blocks as indicated.
- Current license as a registered professional nurse.
- Graduation from an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education.
- Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
Bloomington, IL is a vibrant community roughly two hours from Chicago, Indianapolis, and St. Louis. It features Evergreen Lake, museums, parks, golf courses, a zoo, and performing‑arts venues. Schools include Lincoln College, Heartland Community College, Illinois Wesleyan University, Illinois State University, and local high schools.
Benefits & CompensationSalary: W2 $ 175/hr, 1099 $ 180/hr leadership and professional development opportunities.
