Overview
Indiana University Health is looking for passionate, experienced nurses to join our team and collaborate with top medical professionals. Part and Full‑time roles are eligible for a $30,000 sign‑on bonus. If you are an upcoming nurse graduate or recent graduate, please apply through our pipeline requisition.
The Labor and Delivery unit functions at Bloomington Hospital and consists of 12 inpatient beds, a 4‑bed triage area, 2 Operating Room Suites, and a 3‑bed recovery room. This unit provides inpatient and outpatient care coordinated by L&D RNs to serve the needs of antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum patients and their newborns. Our unit focuses on evidence‑based care to ensure we are providing the best, most up‑to‑date care to our patients.
Additional support is provided for patients and staff through the interdisciplinary team whose membership includes NICU, Adult ICU/PCU and respiratory therapy.

- Associate of Nursing (ASN);
Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred. - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
- RN must have graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
- Basic Life Support certification through AHA. Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
- Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
