Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Hospitalist; Bloomington Hospital

IU Health Medical Group is hiring! We are seeking a patient focused Nurse Practitioner or
Physician Assistant to join our Hospitalist team at Bloomington Hospital!

Position Details:

• Full-Time
  • Days and Nights
  • Rotating 40 hours per week
  • Shared weekends w/ hours of 7a-7p
• No call
• 100% inpatient
• No procedural requirements
• Hospitalist team includes 35 physicians and 7 APPs

Key Responsibilities:

• Admissions/Discharges
• Coordination of care during rounds
• Providing patient and family education
• Initiating a workup for diagnosis and implementing a treatment plan
• Perform medical consults for subspecialty services
• Co-manage with multiple subspecialty services

Qualifications:

• ACNP or PA certifications required
• Experience preferred but new grads are considered
• APP should have strong desire to work in the inpatient setting and have multiple years' experience working as a Hospitalist APP
• If new to workforce, would prefer APP's training include significant time in the inpatient setting.
