Plasma Center Nurse – RN

Job Description

Bio Life Plasma Services, a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company Ltd., is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations. The role reports to the Plasma Center Manager and requires donor eligibility determination, adverse event management, laboratory result review, and medical support.

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, AIDS education, self‑exclusion, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and review of serological protein electrophoresis.
• Evaluate donor reactions and follow applicable standard operating procedures for medical emergencies.
• Refer findings to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical or technical issues.
• Support Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents, coordinating further evaluation with occupational health or ER as needed.
• Serve as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations related to pandemic threats.

• High school diploma or equivalent; or completion of a recognized educational nursing program meeting state requirements.
• Currently licensed or certified as a Registered Nurse (RN), Nurse Practitioner (NP), or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state where the role is assigned.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Fulfillment of state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Completion of FDA‑approved training requirements for Bio Life Medical Support Specialist.
• Minimum two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.

U.S. Hourly Wage Range: $31.68 - $43.56.
