We are seeking an individual with a minimum of one year of RN experience for this role. This is a referral eligible position!
Indiana University Health is looking for passionate, experienced nurses to join our team and collaborate with top medical professionals.
We are a full-spectrum Acuity Adaptable unit, providing med/surg through ICU level care. This unit manages 15-beds while providing care for a variety of patient populations with a focus on Oncology and Cardio patients. Our services align with our strategic mission to deliver comprehensive, high quality cardiac and cancer services to the South-Central Region. This unit features a strategic education plan to train the novice to expert Registered Nurse to accommodate this model of care.
Shift:FT/Nights;
This position requires 1-on-call-shift every 6-week schedule.
Nursing skills gained on this unit

Obtain ONC, and Chemotherapy certifications
Understanding how to balance nurse to patient ratios while providing excellent patient care

Qualifications:
Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN);
Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
Exceptions:
Candidates who have not graduated from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they possess more than two years of acute care experience. Such exceptions are subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
